GJU

The German-Jordanian University (GJU) was founded in 2005 by a Royal Decree in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding reached between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany. The University is modeled on the German universities of applied sciences, characterized by their focus on putting knowledge into practice and on promoting knowledge transfer. The University aims to play a significant role in promoting links between Jordan and Europe, particularly Germany.

The GJU consists of seven faculties and offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a broad variety of engineering, business, technical and professional fields. The University is committed to offering its students outstanding educational experiences through extensive personal contacts among faculty, staff and students.

The University is linked to many other universities through bilateral agreements for cooperation, collaboration and exchange of faculty members and students. 

The method of teaching at GJU is directed towards applied training, experiential learning and professional excellence oriented towards market and industry. 

The faculty members at GJU are renowned for their high academic credentials and extensive industrial experience.
